Mike P. White
Born in 1953, he starts the School of Music of Bienne at the age of 6 years to learn the violin,
then later the School of Jazz of Bern to do the same with the double bass. He learns himself the electric bass.
On the age of 17 he sets up his first band, Husk, then he starts to furrow the "biennoise" area
initially, then all Switzerland and finally, with innumerable groups and musicians of various styles, he travels in the whole world.
These last years one again notices him on various albums as a studio bass player
(albums for Lorenzo Marra and JAD in particular) and it formed part from the very beginning with the project of the splendid singer Clelia, this as a bass player and manager. This project ended this year by fully agreement.

with Clelia & Band on tuesday he spontaneously replaced the bass player of well known Ken Mellons of Nashville Tennessee, who remained wedged in the USA, for the two following evenings (wednesday/thursday) at the head of poster! (Listen to the samples!!)

Né en 1953, il commence l’école de musique de Bienne à l’age de 6 ans au violon, puis l’école de jazz de Berne à la contrebasse. Il apprend lui-même la basse électrique.
A l’age de 17 ans il met sur pied son premier band, Husk, ensuite il commence à sillonner d’abord la région biennoise, puis toute la suisse et finalement, avec d’innombrables groupes et musiciens de divers styles, il voyage dans le monde entier. Ces dernières années on le remarque à nouveau sur divers albums comme bassiste de studio (albums pour Lorenzo Marra et JAD notamment) et il faisait partie dès le début au projet de la splendide chanteuse Clelia, ceci comme bassiste et manager. Ce projet a pris fin cette année en commun accord. Evènement marquant au International Country Festival Albisgüetli ZH 2005: Après le gig avec Clelia & Band le mardi il a spontanément remplacé le bassiste du grand Ken Mellons de Nashville Tennessee, qui est resté resté coincé aux USA, pour les deux soirées suivantes (mercredi/jeudi) en tête d'affiche !
